Final reading & discussion | Moderation: Nicol Ljubić

How political should literature be in these times? Do writers have a social responsibility? Based on these questions, authors from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern have written texts, partly as individual essays, partly as responses to letters from the "Letters Found" project. Johanna Sailer (Berlin), Silke Peters (Stralsund), Jens Lippert (Rostock), Hannah Lenz (Schwerin), Viola Kühn (Neubrandenburg) and Everest Girard (Rostock) will be reading.

The texts were written as part of an author training course organized by the LiteraturRat M-V, led by Nicol Ljubić. Ljubić, author, journalist and artistic director of the "Weiter Schreiben" project since 2025, was born in Zagreb in 1971. He was a co-initiator of the European Writers' Conference and works as a literary mediator in Berlin.
