3-hour hike along the water with a certified nature guide
Discover the Peene river landscape, which is unique in Western Europe and is home to several breeding pairs of majestic white-tailed eagles all year round, on this three-hour circular hike.
The guided hike covers a circular route of approx. 6 km with three viewing platforms. From here, you can also observe great white egrets, wild geese and diving ducks.
On the way, you will pass an old Viking trading post. An experienced nature guide will tell you lots of interesting facts about the almost untouched and vast river landscape and its rare inhabitants. From the observation towers, you have a breathtaking view of the expanse of the glacial river valley.
