The best way to remember is with pictures.
The democracy movement of the Corona years in 99 pictures
This illustrated book is a very special contemporary document. From Berlin to Brussels, people took to the streets not only for their basic and human rights, but also for democracy and peace. Hannes Henkelmann was often at their side with his camera and was able to capture many decisive moments with his fine intuition. His pictures are touching. They are genuine, undisguised and courageous. "Resistance begins on the asphalt" brings together 99 of his photos from the Corona years and shows people's struggle for freedom.
On Friday, March 20, Hannes Henkelmann will be showing his best pictures from his book volume at GÜTERBAHNHOF Neubrandenburg. He will talk wittily about his life and his experiences during his work.
