We are looking forward to a beautiful second market in the Hanseatic City of Stralsund: After the successful premiere in 2025, around 50 selected designers, artisans and vendors of beautiful and delicious things from all over Germany will meet again over 3 days from Friday, April 10 to Sunday, April 12 for a special art event on the Old Market in the middle of Stralsund's old town. This beautiful marketplace is the ideal place to give the high-quality exhibition an appropriate and spacious setting.
Most of the exhibitors are creative professionals who produce their works in their own workshops or studios.
There is unique jewelry by jewelry designers made from a wide variety of materials, e.g. silver, glass, minerals, ceramics, precious stones, amber or wood.
Then there are a wide variety of textile designs made from linen, wax, wool, knitwear, hats and caps for adults and children alike, stationery and cards, pictures and graphics, stainless steel objects, forged items, a wide range ofpfer work for domestic use, beautiful turned wooden objects such as bowls and writing utensils, then chopping boards and many other decorative items for the home and garden.
Various exhibitors show their skills and working methods to the interested public. The saddler and belt maker will be producing items to customer specifications on site. The glass artist and the basket maker demonstrate their craft. The brush maker's workshop of the Blindenhilfswerk Dresden e.V. will be bringing all kinds of handmade brooms, brushes and paintbrushes to Stralsund.
This event is complemented by our gourmet stands. Specialties such as hand-boiled soaps, North German spirits, nougat and almond cookies, delicatessen and spices, cheese and ham will bring further variety to the Old Market.
The gastronomic well-being of market visitors is also catered for.
A crepes and waffle stand and hearty tarte flambée from the wood-fired oven are also on offer. The selected vintner wines invite you to linger.
