From its founding to the summer visitors Feininger, Fallada, Kafka, and Kästner: Every Saturday at 10 a.m., you can learn about the history of Graal-Müritz on a free guided tour.
How did two villages become a Baltic health spa? The guided tour of the Graal-Müritz Local History Museum provides the answers. In the former Warmbad, the tour focuses on the town’s founding, the lives and work of its residents, and the beginnings of the spa industry. You’ll learn how storm surges destroyed three piers. You’ll also encounter summer visitors such as Lyonel Feininger, Hans Fallada, Franz Kafka, and Erich Kästner, who came here seeking peace and inspiration.
For locals, vacationers, and day visitors. Participation is free—the museum welcomes donations to help preserve the collection.
Meeting point: Local History Museum, Parkstraße 21
