Keanu Rubio, a pianist and composer with German-Ecuadorian roots, interprets the works of Ludovico Einaudi and combines them with his own compositions to create a poetic soundscape. Influenced early on by his father as well as the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and Frédéric Chopin, Keanu Rubio (*1999) developed a distinctive musical style that bridges classical tradition and contemporary sound aesthetics.A central point of reference in his work is the music of Ludovico Einaudi, whose works he regularly performs in his concerts. This artistic affinity was deepened through personal encounters and led to invitations to the Teatro Dal Verme in Milan as well as to accompany Einaudi on concert tours. During this intensive phase, he received compositional inspiration and precise feedback that had a lasting impact on his development. In addition to solo performances at unique venues—ranging from churches and natural settings to international stages—Rubio engages in interdisciplinary work with dance, radio, and spoken word. His music combines intimate piano works with atmospheric soundscapes and is described as poetic, nature-inspired, and meditative.
