A variety of activities from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., a full program awaits guests at the Naval Museum on the island of Dänholm. At 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., a former trainee will share his experiences from his time aboard the sailing training ship “Wilhelm Pieck” / “Greif,” in conjunction with the current special exhibition. The Mi-8 naval helicopter will be open for viewing, and throughout the day we’ll be offering regular guided tours of the historic Sternschanze. Please wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. There will also be a maritime book fair and an information booth run by the Friends of the Dänholm Naval Museum (Förderverein Marinemuseum Dänholm e. V.). For younger visitors, there will be a children’s trivia rally with small prizes from the treasure chest.
