Following the successful launch of the event “Founders & Investors – Let’s Get Your Startup Funded” at Stralsund City Hall in March 2026, Gründungswerft e.V. and the DeveLUP Future Center are continuing the series on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Ludwigslust. Once again, we’re bringing together founders, investors, decision-makers, and other key players from the startup and financial ecosystems across Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and northern Germany.
With this fourth edition, we are deliberately broadening our perspective: In addition to urban centers, we are placing even greater emphasis on the potential of rural regions. After all, innovation, entrepreneurship, and capital do not arise in isolated locations, but rather through the interaction of different regions and their respective strengths.
The venue in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district—the second-largest in Germany—offers ideal conditions for spreading the word and engaging key influencers in West Mecklenburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, and beyond. Ludwigslust is situated at the intersection of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Hamburg metropolitan region, one of Europe’s strongest economic and innovation hubs. This creates new opportunities for startups, aspiring entrepreneurs, investors, and companies—ranging from collaborations and market access to financing and skilled workers. Together with partners from business, academia, and politics, the organizers of “Founders & Investors – Let’s Get Your Startup Funded” are creating a space for exchange, financing, and new collaborations. Success stories from the startup world are shared, investors discuss current trends, and selected startups present their ideas at the “Himmel der Möwen” pitching competition. “Founders & Investors – Let’s Get Your Startup Funded” stands for a Mecklenburg-Vorpommern that grows together. For an ecosystem that doesn’t view urban and rural areas in isolation, but rather combines their respective strengths while simultaneously harnessing opportunities for the entire state. After all, the best ideas emerge where different perspectives, regions, and networks come together.
