Ferdinand – A Bull
Somewhere in Spain lives Ferdinand the bull. Unlike the other bulls, nothing can persuade him to fight; instead, he prefers to lie among the flowers under his favorite tree. Through an unfortunate twist of fate, however, he ends up in the bullring, where his peaceful nature is put to the test. His friends help him escape this situation. A play featuring table puppets, flat puppets, and audience participation, exploring peacefulness, the desire to fight, and the consequences of both.
Freely adapted from the story by Munro Leaf, for ages 5 and up, running approximately 50 minutes.
