Born in 1926 in Körbitz, Brandenburg, Wolfram Schubert is not only known for his frescoes in Neubrandenburg's town hall. He was also an influential cultural politician in the GDR for the art region of Neubrandenburg and the Lake District.
To mark his 100th birthday, the art collection is organizing a solo exhibition in the series IM HIER IM JETZT in collaboration with the Archiv Bildende Kunst MSE, which manages and processes a large collection of his legacy. At the exhibition opening, Heide-Marlis Lautenschläger will talk about the artist's life and work.
