Exhibition opening on July 9, 2026, at 4:30 p.m., featuring works by Angela Preusz-Löschenkohl
The exhibition brings together portraits, drawings, and paintings from the series “Szenaria,” “Amazonen,” and “Disegno Interno.” It focuses on an exploration of femininity as a space of experience situated between memory, everyday life, and individual perception. The women depicted do not appear as ideals, but as bearers of history, identity, and lived experience.
The title refers to the Renaissance term “Disegno Interno,” which describes the inner conception of a work of art. In her works, Angela Preusz-Löschenkohl connects this inner level with visible form. Drawings, paintings, and objects create open spaces that link personal experiences with social issues. A characteristic feature is the intervention in the canvas through cuts, stitches, and material alterations. The image becomes a site of inscribed experiences. This gives rise to works that explore perception, memory, physicality, and the conditions of visibility.
Join us this evening to discover new perspectives on identity, origin, and femininity.
