"Mohns & Mohns"

Ute and Michael Mohns
Painting - Drawings - Sculpture
The artist couple Ute and Michael Mohns present paintings, drawings and sculptures. Ute Mohns' work captivates above all with very picturesque floral still lifes, while Michael Mohns' bronze sculptures predominantly depict very lively animal motifs. Michael Mohns, who learned his craft under Professor Jastram at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art, has been awarded the Caspar David Friedrich Prize MV. Ute Mohns' paintings are created from the joy of painting in front of a motif that has aroused her interest. Her eyes observe, look, immerse themselves in the fullness of the subject, is how she describes her motivation.
