Since 2020, the Mecklenburg Foundation has integrated queer history into its permanent exhibition as part of the state's history.
The revision of the permanent exhibition on regional history is based on a project that took more than two years and involved many committed people.
Some of the contents of this exhibition are also part of the online exhibition Queer im Museum - Lesben, Schwule und trans* Personen in Mecklenburgs Landesgeschichte(www.landesmuseum-mv.de).
