A literary-musical afternoon with water stories from around the world
In Dömitzer Hafen, actress Claudia de Boer and musician Bardo Henning bring texts on the subject of water to life in an impressive way.
Leonardo da Vinci called water the "blood of the planet". In literature, it is a symbol of life and renewal - but also a threatening, uncontrollable element. de Boer and Henning illuminate the different facets of water and its songs in texts from Europe, Asia and America. The audience can look forward to stories by Edgar Allan Poe, Franz Kafka and water fairy tales from Germany and Bulgaria. The river goddess Yemaja is sung about, and the Loreley is also part of the program.
Claudia de Boer's authentic recitation skills and the rousing music of the versatile composer and jazz musician Bardo Henning promise a very special afternoon.
