Romantic Guitar Melodies in the Lake District Set amid the vast landscape of the Mecklenburg Lake District, internationally acclaimed guitarist Stefan Grasse invites you to a special concert series in select churches. The focus is on Romantic and Impressionist music. In addition to his own neoclassical compositions—inspired by the region’s nature, open spaces, and light—the program features works by Erik Satie and Heitor Villa-Lobos. Erik Satie’s music captivates with its simple and meditative clarity. Heitor Villa-Lobos, on the other hand, creates richly colored soundscapes with poetic expressiveness. “Churches · Lakes · Music” opens up soundscapes full of atmosphere and poetry—intense, moving, and entirely dedicated to the magic of the moment.
