The international art symposium in the MSE district, featuring Romanian, Israeli, Polish, and German artists, will take place this year from August 30 to September 6, 2026, at the Alte Kachelofen
The international art symposium in the MSE district, featuring Romanian, Israeli, Polish, and German artists, will take place this year from August 30 to September 6, 2026, at the Alte Kachelofenfabrik in Neustrelitz. The 14 artists will spend a week working together, living together, exchanging ideas, and devoting themselves entirely to their art. The resulting works will be formally presented in a group exhibition at the Kulturscheune on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. In an open discussion, the artists will share their experiences and insights. This year, Katharina Neuweg, Dana Jes, and Tom Wollenberg from the Mecklenburg Lake District will participate in the symposium. All of the resulting works will be on display from September 5, 2026, through October 11, 2026, in the gallery of the Alte Kachelofenfabrik. Following the exhibition, you can enjoy a concert by [to be announced] at the Kulturscheune starting at 8:00 p.m. The gallery’s official hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., or in the mornings by telephone appointment.
