Having arrived in the fall of their relationship, Karl and Lisl experience their second spring during their summer vacation. The well-rehearsed couple try to overcome the hurdles of their vacation and get caught up in their own mental pitfalls. In this production, the Parktheater Edelbruch devotes itself to Valentinian humor, which is often taken to absurd extremes. The protagonists slip into the stage characters of Karl Valentin and Lisl Karlstadt. Without using the Bavarian dialect, they indulge in distorted logic and absurd twists of words.
