When the lights are on...Christmas program with Ronny Weiland
Sind die Lichter angezündet... that's the name of Ronny Weiland's Christmas program. The title "Sind die Lichter angezündet" is certainly familiar to many from the Leipzig Radio Children's Choir. Hans Sandig set the poem by Erika Engel to music, which ends with the words "Let there be peace everywhere".
Candlelight is undoubtedly as much a part of the Christmas season as the Christmas tree and the sound of bells. All this is of course also sung in the most beautiful traditional Christmas carols. Visitors can look forward to a two-part concert program, contemplative but also cheerful, that's how Christmas should be!
The first part will feature the "Great Emotions" with titles such as "Die Moldau", "Betende Hände" and "Gib Eltern etwas wieder", before Ronny invites you to listen, dream and sing along with Christmas carols in the second part. This warm singing voice is virtually predestined for the interpretation of songs at Christmas time and will not fail to evoke a feeling of emotion this time either.
Ronny Weiland always manages to captivate and inspire his guests. The loyalty and gratitude of his ever-growing fan base are proof of this! Ronny was described as "one of the best voices in Germany" in a TV appearance by Stefan Mross.
And this voice invites you to "Sind die Lichter angezündet" to get you in the mood for the most contemplative time of the year, when the bells ring sweetly in the silent night and the snow trickles softly while the little drummer waits for the Christ Child.
