Chanson duo comes to Lüchow
The chanson duo around singer Marie-Luise Böning and pianist Lena Schmidt was founded at the hmt Rostock and has been giving concerts throughout Germany ever since.
The musicians come with a program that aims to illuminate all facets of human life - love, longing, jealousy, the search for a touch of home to bring a little peace between our temples in the daily grind. Included are chansons and songs by Wolf Biermann, Friedrich Holländer, Hildegard Knef through to Brecht and Weill - always in their own arrangements.
The concert starts at 15:00.
Coffee and cake will be served from 2-5pm. Admission is free, donations are requested.
