Manuel—art-rock and pop singer, composer, and lyricist with a keen sense for great melodies and lyrical German lyrics; since 2012, singer and keyboardist for the Stern-Combo Meißen and the quintessential modern figure of East German rock —currently enjoying great success on a ballad tour with Dirk Zöllner and on the road with his solo project featuring Marek Arnold.
Maike – violinist with her own band and original songs, who also performs as a guest in various bands, singer-songwriter projects, and with artists such as Dirk Zöllner and Felix Meyer. Over the past two years, she has also collaborated with Silly singer Julia Neigel. In April 2025, Maike and Manuel released their joint EP “Himmelslieder,” which also features Jäcki and Basti Reznicek on bass and drums. In their joint program, the artists will present classics of East German rock and their own songs in a fresh new style, with arrangements in which piano and violin blend together—rich in tone and expressive—carried by the velvety and powerful voice of the exceptional singer Manuel Schmid.
