Under the title "Ballads, Blues & New Quiet Songs", Hübner presents a musical-literary solo program that combines personal memories, stories and new songs.
The concert season in the Kursaal starts with a special concert: on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 20:00, the Mecklenburg musician Harro Hübner will make a guest appearance on the island of Poel with his triple anniversary tour 2026.
Under the title "Ballads, Blues & New Quiet Songs", Hübner presents a musical-literary solo program that combines personal memories, stories and new songs. The tour marks several anniversaries: 61 years of life, 41 years on stages around the world and an (almost) new album.
In his program, the singer-songwriter also looks back on his musical apprenticeship years. In 1985, he received his first concert engagement with the band Keimzeit - a formative moment that marked the beginning of his long stage career. Four decades later, Hübner is still on the road, presenting songs from his latest album as well as new pieces from his current solo program.
The audience can expect an evening full of ballads, blues, country influences and poetic stories - sometimes reflective, sometimes tongue-in-cheek. Hübner's concerts are considered intense and personal, characterized by soft tones, strong lyrics and a good dose of self-irony.
