Maika Drews and Jörg Knüppel
With MY CADENCE, MAIKA DREWS - who is also known as part of the indie folk band ITCHY FEET - has fulfilled a dream and created a free space in which she can realize her very own musical visions, which she weaves into a colourful tapestry with musical influences from a wide variety of sources.
Her rough yet gentle voice, together with various keyboard instruments, serves as a tool to transport us into a fragile world filled with melancholy melodies, spherical sounds and touching lyrics.
She is supported by a friend of many years: JÖRG KNÜPPEL, who contributes his experience as a solo and session musician and enriches the soundscape of MY CADENCE not only with percussion, string instruments and his voice, but also with a personal touch.
