Memorial service in the town church of Malchow
Malchow's town church was built between 1870 and 1873 and consecrated on November 2, 1873. Its predecessor churches stood on the island behind the town hall on the site of the former district court building. Today, in addition to the services of the Protestant parish, the town church also hosts a variety of exhibitions and concerts.
On the 81st anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camps, the victims of National Socialism, in particular the imprisoned women of the satellite camp, are commemorated in the memorial service and a sign is set for peace and against forgetting.
