Comedian comes with book and guitar
Claudia Brendler is an author, musician and comedian. She has been touring with the music cabaret duo Queens of Spleens for years. Together they have written and performed seven stage programs and have been and continue to be guests on radio and television, in broadcasts by WDR, BR, SFB and SWR.
Claudia Brendler has also published short prose and five novels to date with Droemer Knaur and dtv - some under the pseudonyms Leonie Faber and Claudia Elling.
Claudia Brendler has been touring the country for a long time with her idiosyncratic guitar Conception and various reading programs. She will not only be reading from her current novel "Die Zeitenbummlerin" at the Zeughaus library on March 9 at 7 p.m., but also telling stories of wanderlust and longing, of setting off and arriving in the unfamiliar.
As Conception has her own taste in music, there will be happy metal on Norwegian fjords and other bizarre things ... "Let yourself be surprised, you can expect a reading event with lots of music, humour and unconventional guitar!", says Petra Steffan, Equal Opportunities Officer and co-organizer.
Tickets for this traditional joint event for International Women's Day with the Equal Opportunities Officer, the City Library and the Friends of the Library are now available at the library for 10.00 euros in advance, with any remaining tickets available at the box office for 13 euros. The library association is offering a drink with every ticket.
Reservations are accepted on 03840 251 4020 or stadtbibliothek@wismar.de
