First Friday of the month is movie time in Malchow
The celebrated conductor Thibaut is suffering from leukemia and urgently needs a bone marrow donor. When he learns that he has been adopted, he sets off in search of family members who could help him with their donation. In the process, he meets his brother Jimmy, who works in a school canteen and plays the trombone in a brass band in northern France. Thibaut soon discovers his brother's extraordinary musical abilities.
