Not Quite Kosher - A Divine Comedy (2022)
The film tells the story of Ben, a devout Jew from Brooklyn, who gets stranded in the Sinai desert on his way to Alexandria. There he meets the grumpy Bedouin Adel. An involuntary partnership of convenience develops into an adventurous journey full of misunderstandings, humor and surprising friendship.
"Not Quite Kosher" is a warm-hearted road movie comedy that tells of prejudices, cultural differences and understanding with subtle humor and great humanity. The two main characters quickly grow on the audience, while impressive desert landscapes and strong performances by the actors carry the film.
