Sixteen-year-old Lea has made it to the preliminary round of a talent show. She has previously showcased her beautiful singing voice during occasional performances with a friend at the local bar in her town. Now she has the chance to compete in the TV contest in Munich. Lea isn’t one to show off and doesn’t know how to present herself effectively. She’s frustrated that she couldn’t come up with anything to tell the TV crew. What goes on at home isn’t suitable for the “home stories” the TV crew wants to tell, Lea’s father says. Once Lea is in the spotlight, the dynamics within the family change.
