Lecture on more than 700 years of local history
Local historian and author Manfred Rohde presents the chronicle of the town of Klütz and takes the audience on a journey through over 700 years of history of the Klützer Winkel. From the first documentary mention in 1230 to the formative noble families von Plessen and von Bothmer to the "Klützer Markt" and the legendary carousel of "Vater Knieff" - the reading offers lively insights into the town's past.
Manfred Rohde, born in 1951, grew up in Klützer Winkel and has been involved in regional history for almost 40 years. He is the author of around 30 chronicles, including the chronicles of the town of Klütz and its districts.
