On Sunday, November 15, 2026, the Rhineland Puppet Theater will perform at 4:00 p.m. at the Kulturhaus Teterow, Niels-Stensen-Straße 1. They will perform the pre-Christmas family story “Pettersson and Findus—Tomorrow, Findus, There’ll Be a Surprise,” based on the well-known children’s book by Sven Nordqvist.
Ever since Pettersson told his cat about Santa Claus, Findus has had only one big wish: for Santa Claus to visit him in person on Christmas Eve. Pettersson doesn’t want to disappoint his little friend under any circumstances, so he starts drawing, sawing, hammering, and building in his carpenter’s shed.
But despite all his careful preparations, things end up turning out quite differently than planned. A heartwarming and humorous Christmas story about friendship, imagination, and the little miracles that sometimes defy explanation.
The Rhineland Puppet Theater presents the story as a lovingly staged puppet show for children and adults. The performance lasts about 60 minutes and is suitable for children ages three and up.
