The then 23-year-old Camille Saint-Saëns composed the Christmas Oratorio in just twelve days.
What a tremendous work!
The choral work "A ceremony of Carols" by Benjamin Britten was composed to texts from "The English Galaxy of Shorter Poems" and premiered in 1943.

Christmas music at the highest level in St. Jakobi Stralsund.
