A puppet show loosely based on the story by Martin Auer, for children ages 4 and up.

Lieschen Radieschen always turned red in the face—always. There was nothing to be done about it. No one could handle her. Not even Aunt Evelyn, who had been a kindergarten teacher back when she wasn’t so old: “The lamb vulture takes such angry children, Lieschen!” – “Pah!

No lamb vulture’s taking me—I’ll take him!” Lieschen shouted and ran off. Then the lamb vulture came and wanted to take Lieschen to the Island of Angry Children. But Lieschen clamped her mouth shut, narrowed her eyes, and turned red in the face. “No use,” said the lamb vulture, and took Lieschen to a kingdom where she wanted to become a princess—a black princess, with a black cloak and a black sword, of course.

So the self-assured girl chases away all the robbers in the land, takes on a dragon, and frees the prince. But he isn’t really a prince—he’s August Haselböck from the third floor—and so children who share not only a vivid imagination but also problems with stubborn adults become friends.

Admission is free with a guest card.
