The exhibition "WILD" is dedicated to the animal in contemporary art. On display are works of painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture and photography that focus on the relationship between humans, animals, culture and nature.
The exhibition "WILD" can be seen from July 26 to October 2, 2026. The participants are Isabelle Dutoit, Anja Seedler, Julia Kissina, Nora Arrieta, Carlo Leopold Broschewitz, Simone Haack, Markus Willeke, Anett Stuth, Antje Ingber and Fatma Güdü.
The exhibition brings together works from painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture and photography. The focus is on the representation of animals in contemporary art. In their works, the participating artists explore the relationships between humans and animals as well as culture and nature.
They also focus on the instrumental relationship between humans and animals and the extinction of species caused by humans. Art thus becomes a mirror of a present that is characterized by climate change as well as ecological, economic and political uncertainties.
Exhibition opening on 26.07. at 5 pm.
