We cordially invite all children and their families to the 2nd Children's Mill Afternoon!
Great experiences in and around the mill await you again. Meet the mill mouse "Mühli von Mühl", who will tell exciting stories about her adventures with her mouse friends. Get active yourself by grinding flour from grain. Take part in the mill rally through the mill to the upper floors.
The puppet theater "Kriedelfix" by and with Martina Kriedel shows the fairy tale "Puss in Boots".
Ms. Martina Kriedel, freelance artist and trained educator, has been living and working in her farmhouse and studio in Zapel / Hagenow since 2000. She has made a name for herself with commissioned paintings and art projects (e.g. Demokratie leben , Dorfkirche mon amour ,...). In 2018, she was nominated for the Ludwig Reinhard Culture Prize. Ms. Kriedel has been running the mobile puppet theater Kriedelfix for around 10 years: she creates her own radio plays, which she then "makes the puppets dance" to. She focuses on old fairy tales that she rewrites or her own stories in the realm of fantasy. She designs the puppets, stage sets and props herself.
Since 2025, the marionette artist has dedicated herself to the theme of "mill fairy tales". She stages fairy tales featuring mills in her own way. The result is magical creatures, such as Rumpelstiltskin, who cast a spell over visitors.
After the mill fairy tale, you can attend a craft session with children on the subject of "Making a mill mouse".
The mill association will once again provide refreshments.

We ask visitors to use the large parking lot in Kröpelin on Rostocker Str.. Parkingdirectly at the mill is unfortunately not possible.
