Family film about an unemployed weather presenter from Sydney who runs over a kangaroo in the Australian outback and, with the help of an indigenous girl, makes it his mission to save other kangaroos.
The film has a friendly atmosphere and focuses on positive characters. Occasionally there are slightly dramatic and threatening situations (e.g. an accident, pursuit by animal trappers, death of animals), but these are within a framework that will not cause lasting fear in children aged 6 and over. Viewers from this age are able to view the events in the context of the overall plot and process them without being overwhelmed. The remote setting in the Australian outback also makes it easier for children aged 6 and over to distance themselves. Negative effects can therefore be ruled out.
(runs from 6 to 8 and on 10.3.)
