How wonderful that the SEKT AND THE CITY ensemble remains true to its extraordinarily fresh and lively style. An exhilarating happening with powerful songs, shrill costume changes, bizarre role-playing, captivating dance interludes, plenty of guts and lots of champagne.
Three best friends in their prime meet regularly on Wednesdays to discuss the really important topics: figures and hairstyles, well-researched reports in "Gala" and "Bunte", and an unvarnished look at themselves, with the realization: "It's really expensive to look so cheap!"
After several "Stößchen" with "Sektchen", Lena, Heike and Kati grow the courage to change themselves once again from the ground up. It all starts with a trip to the hairdresser, because this is where the three women can be really shameless and honest. Can a woman wash her best friend's head or would that be insensitive? Why is female intuition superior to male acumen and how do women disguise their intelligence? What do logarithms have to do with hair curlers and why can't heat waves be used to generate energy?
A comedy revue full of energetic music and shrill exchanges. A trio of women to fall in love with. Meow!
