CAPTAIN KNITTERBART AND HIS GANG
Based on the children’s book by Cornelia Funke
Adapted for the stage by Stefan Dehler
Starring Marc Östreich and Paul Schuparis
Captain Knitterbart is the wildest of all pirates. When his ship appears on the horizon, all honest sailors tremble with fear like Jell-O. No one is safe from his crew. Everyone’s on board: Nasty Freddy, Bald Knut, Harald the Wooden Hand, Blue Hein, Hunchback Bill, and 20 other wild guys. A pirate captain needs a long knife, a pistol, and a loud voice. Those are three things you can use to scare the living daylights out of people. And when people are scared out of their wits, they’ll do whatever a pirate captain wants. But he should have let one ship pass by. On board is a little girl named Molly, who makes sure the evil pirate’s knees really shake with fear.
