Worldwide Candlelighting Day is dedicated to the memory of children who have died - regardless of whether they were born or not, regardless of how long they lived. Orphaned parents, siblings, friends and anyone who would like to stand by them are cordially invited to attend a service on this day, during which candles are also lit for the deceased children.
