Calligraphy/ lettering and graphics - Inis Einbeck

I have been a passionate calligrapher for over 30 years and have worked exclusively as such for 15 years. I have been teaching Occidental writings and creative realizations in courses and weekend seminars since that time. I have developed a special, descriptive, methodical way of teaching, where I deal intensively with each student and his abilities during the lessons. The courses and seminars take place in my studio rooms in the old school in Baumgarten near Bützow. I am working on various projects and commissions of my own in my studio. I design with the font, always as the main design medium, although my works are mostly mixed media, very fond of collages, which can be seen in large-format paintings, text illustrations, mandalas, book objects, pop-up designs and the most diverse text designs. Especially I like to dedicate myself to medieval book art. Furthermore, I use a variety of techniques, such as: ornamentation, watercolor, gouache, frottage, drawing, etc. My work is often spontaneous, and I also select and combine the techniques at short notice.
