Photography exhibition
In our 7th art exhibition Blind Date in Heiligendamm, we are showing 32 sleeping glasses portraits by Freddy Langer in the lobby of the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm. "Blind Date" brings national and international artist portraits to Heiligendamm and invites you to combine art enjoyment and relaxation on the Baltic Sea.
The selection of portraits curated by artist Freddy Langer allows visitors to meet Andy Warhol, Joseph Beuys, Geraldine Chaplin, Iris Berben and Bono, among others.
What began as a spontaneous night-time experiment in the early 1980s has developed over the decades into a unique photographic collection: artists, musicians, actors, writers, politicians and companions, photographed with nothing more than a pair of sleeping goggles in front of their eyes and a camera in the photographer's hand.
