Exhibition 30.4. to 5.6. Gudrun Koch shows the raw beauty of the Faroe Islands and Norway: fog, fjords, sheep and windswept coasts.
To the north, towards blurred light and wide shadows, that's where you find the rough. Rough sea, rough nature, rough coziness.
When the loneliness and the ruggedness of the sea hits you in the face, along with the wind, and you no longer know where the rain ends and the spray begins, then you are on the Scandinavian coasts - often with low-hanging clouds and rough-woolled, tough animals.
In Norway, there is approximately one sheep for every two people. On the Faroe Islands, which belong to Denmark, there are almost one and a half sheep to one person. There are plenty of sheep and clouds to see. As well as mountains and the sea.
Photographer Gudrun Koch has spent the last four years on the Danish Faroe Islands and in the Norwegian fjord landscapes. The results are rough and rugged impressions, some of which have been captured in photographs.
From 30.4. to 5.6.
