Helga Schubert Reads in Parchim
A special literary event awaits you on December 11, 2026, at the Zinnhaus in Parchim: The multi-award-winning author Helga Schubert is coming to Parchim to read from her new book, “The Week After—A Book of Hours of Hope.”
Friday, December 11, 2026
⏰ 6:00 p.m.
Zinnhaus Parchim, Lange Straße 24
Admission: €30
As part of the event, Helga Schubert will also be presenting a small exhibition featuring works by her husband, Johannes Helm.
And we’ll be there, too: We’ll be running the book table for the reading and, of course, bringing Helga Schubert’s books for you to browse and buy.
Important: We are not the organizers of this reading; rather, it is being hosted by the Association for the Preservation of Artists’ Estates in West Mecklenburg (Verein zur Bewahrung von Künstlernachlässen Westmecklenburg e. V.). We will be there solely with our book table.
️ Tickets are available through Eventim, at the Parchim Tourist Information Office, and at our bookstore “reingelesen” at Tilo Tambach.
Reservations through us are not possible for this event. Since seating at the Zinnhaus is limited, we strongly recommend that you secure your tickets well in advance—before they end up sold out.
A reading by a renowned German author, a special venue, and the chance to discover Helga Schubert’s new book right there on the spot. We’re looking forward to this evening!
