at.tension Theater Festival Comes to Mirow
For the first time, the 2026 at.tension Theater Festival will feature an outdoor venue in Mirow. Organized by Kulturkosmos Müritz e. V. at the Lärz Airfield, the theater festival will present an extraordinary circus show for five days in Mirow during its 11th edition. At the Unteres Schloss grounds in front of the Kulturbühne, a circus tent will bring contemporary circus to life—a genre that has consistently been among the festival’s highlights throughout at.tension’s 20-year history. The international troupe My!Laika will present “La Soirée,” a production that most recently caused a sensation at the 2022 at.tension Theater Festival in Lärz. “La Soirée” is a composition of music, acrobatics, and absurd theater. In a third-rate restaurant, eccentric characters gather for an unusual evening. The characters’ relationships intertwine with a series of surreal surprises. Amazement, laughter, and food for thought are guaranteed.
Tickets are available for €20 starting in August through advance sales at the tourist information offices in Mirow, Rechlin, and Röbel.
