A statewide art event from October 3 to 11, 2026
Nine days, more than a hundred venues, around 500 artists: With KUNST HEUTE, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern will be transformed into a stage for contemporary art from October 3 to 11, 2026. Studios, galleries, museums, artists’ and literary houses, castles, churches, and sculpture parks will open their doors, inviting visitors to rediscover art in all its facets.
The program ranges from exhibitions, performances, and installations to art events, guided tours, and discussions. Visitors will encounter a vibrant scene that inspires wonder, reflection, and discussion. The focus is on the diversity of contemporary forms of expression, dialogue with the works, and direct encounters with the key players in a dynamic art scene.
HIGHLIGHTS OF 2026: THE ART ROUTES
