Artists Against Cancer – Art Auction on June 26, 2026, in Malchin
Experience art, do good, and spread hope together: Under the motto “Artists Against Cancer,” a special art auction will take place on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the Malchin Town Hall.
The initiative was launched by Celine Schmidt, who has dedicated herself to bringing together artists from all over Germany for this worthy cause.
Around 20 artists from all over Germany have donated extraordinary works for the auction. Visitors can expect a diverse selection of artworks—primarily paintings, but the auction also includes an impressive photograph. Particularly noteworthy: real hair was even incorporated into the design of one of the pieces.
After raising 2,760.90 euros for a good cause last year, we hope for strong participation and a successful outcome again this year.
For the first time, all artworks will be publicly displayed prior to the auction. The works will be featured through the City of Malchin’s channels, on social media, and in coverage by the Nordkurier. This gives interested parties the opportunity to get a preview of the artworks in advance.
All art lovers, supporters, and curious visitors are cordially invited to attend the auction, discover unique art, and at the same time make an important contribution to the fight against cancer.
