After a long time, the Schwerin-Mueß Open-Air Museum is once again taking part in the popular KunstOffen project. Every year on Whitsun weekend, this attracts enthusiastic art lovers from all over Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to the countryside, gardens, exhibitions and workshops.
On Pentecost Saturday and Sunday, May 23 and 24, Brit Bellmann (painting) and stone sculptor Frank Speth will be exhibiting their works on the meadows of the Mueßer Museumsdorf. Ambitious visitors can try out their own artistic skills under the guidance of Brit Bellmann. Frank Speth demonstrates his working techniques on objects.
Visitors only pay the regular museum entrance fee during the opening hours 10 am - 6 pm.
The exhibitions and activities over the Whitsun weekend will be accompanied by live music. On the evening of May 23, dance enthusiasts can dance along to a dance evening with the band Folk-Tanz-Fusion in the museum. Community, European and traditional dances will be performed. Admission to the dance from 19:00: 15 euros. For Pentecost Sunday, May 24, the "Lenoren" from Klützer Winkel have announced their appearance. They will be playing folk tunes from all over the world with flutes, violin and guitar between 10 am and 5 pm.
