Introduction to the exhibition: The beginnings of photography - from Niépce to modern pictorial art. The invention of photography marks a milestone in the history of human culture and communication. It made it possible to capture the world in a way that was previously unimaginable. This exhibition presents an impressive collection of negatives in large and medium format (approximately) from the years 1860 to 1960. The originals have been scanned and printed on high-quality paper.
