The 89-year-old father traveled alone to the Highlands and suffered a heart attack in the wilderness. His daughter sets off for Scotland to bring him home. But the frail father has one last wish: he wants to walk to the northernmost tip of the country—just as he did back when he was a young student.
Together, father and daughter set out. Along the way, they speak openly for the first time about their family’s dramatic history. What begins as a rescue mission becomes, for the daughter, a journey of reconciliation and a fresh start. Alexa Hennig von Lange became one of the most successful authors of her generation in 1997 with her debut novel *Relax*. Her reading explores family bonds, untold stories, and the strength to embark on one final journey together.
