Olivia Franke opens up a space between voice and image, exhibition and text, with an evening guided reading. At the exhibition of Finnish art at the Neues Kunsthaus Ahrenshoop, she reads selected passages from Anne Dufourmantelle’s *In Defense of the Secret*.
The French philosopher Anne Dufourmantelle conceives of the secret, the hidden, and the unconscious not as a lack of knowledge, but as a prerequisite for freedom. Her ideas enter into an open dialogue with the exhibited works and invite visitors not only to view art, but also to experience it as a space for thought and experience.
Olivia Franke directs the Künstlerhaus Lukas residency program and oversees the program at the Neues Kunsthaus Ahrenshoop. The guided tour is aimed at anyone who wishes to combine literature and visual art in a special atmosphere.
