Touching and Identifying Beach Stones
Located in the heart of the national park at the NATUREUM in Darßer Ort, the exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to take a closer look at a wide variety of beach finds. As part of the “Beach Stones You Can Touch” event, exhibition curator and geologist Maria Kohn will also identify finds that visitors bring along and take the time to provide information and answer questions about beach stones and fossils. At the museum education booth, small experiments are used to explore the question: Is this amber or not?
