The fallow deer and the Turopolje pigs in the Ivenack zoo love acorns and chestnuts! The Stavenhagen Forestry Office buys chestnuts and acorns every year for their winter feeding.
Hard-working collectors up to the age of 16 can sell their chestnuts and acorns. You will receive 10 cents for a kilogram of chestnuts and 25 cents for a kilogram of acorns. Please only hand in dry and mold-free chestnuts and acorns. The sale will only take place on this day in the parking lot at the main entrance.
